MAGGIES PLACE

Mutt & Jeff's Grooming is sensitive to breed sizes and shapes.  In 2009 a beautiful St. Bernard named Maggie came to get groomed.  Maggie is what you would consider a "big girl".  Maggie was nervous getting into the grooming tub and being groomed. After making Maggie as comfortable and reassured as possible, Jackie and Jeff (owners of Mutt & Jeff's) realized they needed a better solution.... This is when Jackie and Jeff came up with Maggies Place.

Maggies Place is an area in Mutt & Jeff's shop where dogs who are nervous being in tubs or on tables can get groomed and washed low to the ground in a non restrictive area.  This technique alleviates the dog's stress of being/feeling unsteady on their feet. 

Maggies Place benefits many giant breeds such as Jackie's rescued Great Dane named Pete! 
BATH ONLY SERVICE

(Bath rates are determined by weight. 
Proof of updated Rabies Vaccination required.)
BASIC (Bath Only)

Bath, blow dry, ears cleaned, nails trimmed and sanitary area trimmed.

Pros: This groom is basic.  This is excellent for short hair breeds, puppies, geriatric dogs and maintenance in between groom visits.

Considerations:  It may not be enough of a "groomed look" for some owners.  It may not be possible to do if the dog is severely matted.


ALL BATHS INCLUDE

- bathing (shampoo/conditioner appropriate for skin type and/or issues)
- blow -dry
- brush-out (light brushing)
- sanitary cut (grooming around private area to assist with hygiene)
- ear plucking and/or ear cleaning
- nail trim

(We will only provide bows or bandanas if requested)


FLEA TREATMENT
If needed, we utilize natural flea shampoos


COLLAR WASHED
If needed we will hand wash your dogs collar so that he/she is 100% clean when you arrive


OPEN:  Wednesday through Sunday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
